yay my p700 is finally here! not bad, its been pretty good and i really like it :D training's been pretty alright, centered around getting the gun feel and customization.. today i moved my trigger closer to the grip.. guess im not used to trigger being far from grip ever since i used Walther.. hmmmm.
i saw coach zhang today, and we exchanged a few words. its a little more formal between us now, but it was a good closure. im grateful for her help and guidance these 4 years. good and bad, there's been both, but she was a good coach to me. well, as i feel, shooting is a journey of self discovery. coach zhang has been instrumental in helping me find more of myself through shooting.she was really a supprtive and dynamic coach to me.
as for the new coach, i havent been formally coached by him yet, but i've had 2 discussions with him when i went over to high school section. We exchanged ideas, got to know each other better, and exchanged shooting philosophy. every shooter/coach has a different and unique perspective to shooting and how it relates to their life, and my new coach, coach zhang was no exeption.
after training today i went to play pool with junhong. this time i didnt get owned bad, i played decently and in the best game i played, i won cuz junhong sunk the white ball hitting the black one. but for the record, there was only 1 of my balls left on the table. considering how imba he is, i guess this is pretty good :)
today royston tan come to our sch. yeah the director of the gritty and horridly honest gangster film 15. we watched his latest film today, i cant rmb the title, but it was a film revolving around a opera troupe in Singapore which is about to disbanded . it was a sincere and honest film, very royston tan style. the film was just made up of different members of the opera troupe singing a song which "represented them the most". as expected, most songs were emotional and poignant, and it really struck a chord in my heart because i could understand the dialect it was sung in. anyway, royston said he made the film into a continuous movie as he thought making it documentry style would be boring..
anyway after the film i went backstage. yongjie and fangkai and micheal joined me and we asked royston tan abt 15 jhahahaha. but his answers were really amusing. apparently he shadowed various members of a gang for 2 years as part of his research o_0. thus the film 15. woww..
tmr class outing.. still deciding whether i should go to darius' band jamming session and help them sing vocals in the morning. eh darius, i will consider joining your band hahaha.AWWW shit i cant rmb the band name...
bleh.
